Singer Jamal, who became the winner of Eurovision, highly praised Sergei Lazarev, who represented Russia at the contest.
The singer noted that the Russian singer had a “cool number” and a “cool song”, but this year a lot of strong artists came to Eurovision, and therefore Russia ended up with only third place.
Earlier, President Petro Poroshenko handed Jamal the title of People's Artist of Ukraine. Commenting on this step, the singer noted that nothing has changed for her, since the main thing is the popularity of the audience, not regalia.
The editors of uznayvse.ru want to add that during the press conference the singer, who represented Ukraine at Eurovision, refused the proposal of the vice-premier of Crimea. Georgy Muradov offered Jamal, who is a Crimean Tatar after his father, to take Russian citizenship and come to the peninsula. The singer noted that she is already a citizen of Ukraine and is not going to change this.
